This week in Reception, we have been learning about the Creation story in Religion. We have been practising sequencing the different parts of the story and talking about what happened at each stage.

In Maths, our focus has been sorting. We have been exploring how we can sort objects into different groups and explaining why objects belong together.

We have also officially started our phonics learning! This week, we have been introduced to the sounds s, a, t and p and have been practising recognising and saying each sound.

In our Context learning, we have been thinking about where we belong and exploring the idea of cynefin. We created our own maps to show the different places where we belong, including our homes, Cardiff, Wales, our school and our church.
