This week, we have been exploring the concept of Original Sin and considering how it affects our relationship with God. The children created comic strips telling the story of Adam and Eve, describing what happened, how and why the characters may have felt as they did, and reflecting on the meanings of free will and consequences.

In PE, we had an exciting opportunity to practise the skills needed for dodgeball, working in small groups as we prepare for our games next week.

In Maths, we have been investigating multiplication by 10, 100 and 1,000. We discussed how digits move across the place value chart and practised explaining our thinking using mathematical vocabulary such as place holders.

In Literacy, the children took on the role of reporters, using their writing skills to add detail and bring the events of our class text to life.

It has been a busy and productive week, and the children have worked incredibly hard across all subjects. Well done, Year 6! 😊
