In Religion this week, we attended Mass with Father Jose where we learnt about the Ascension of Jesus as we continue preparing for Pentecost.

In maths, we have continued exploring money and opened a toy shop in our classroom. We exchanged money for toys and practised counting different amounts using coins.

In phonics, we have been learning our Phase 3 tricky words and continuing to read and write CVC and CVCC words using the sounds we know.

In our context work, we have been learning about the different parts of a flower and planted our own cress seeds. On Friday, we made predictions about how much our cress would grow by Monday and used rulers to help measure and compare our ideas.
