St Joseph's R.C. Primary School
Week beginning 9.2.26
We had a very busy last week of term. All the children completed their numeracy and reading tests. We went to Church for mass on Friday and went outside for our Forest Friday time.
In Re, we finished our branch 3 work. This included looking at different versions of the Our Father prayer from different Bible's and Luke and Matthew's interpretations of it. We then had to explain how each petition mentioned in the prayer is important to us and important to God. We also reflected on the beatitudes for a final time in this Branch. In Literacy, we completed our own versions of Cinderella. Our performance was also revealed to us- Grimm Brother's Fairytales. In maths, we have continued with multiplication and looking and more methods of multiplication. This involved breaking up bigger numbers. In context, we managed to build circuits from looking at diagrams. This was done in our learning groups. Finally, in Welsh we created our own trapdoor game using the sentences we have been learning.
