Learning in Welsh

A new Welsh scheme of work has been introduced into Saint Joseph’s. We have focused on ‘disgrifwch’ / describing. The children described their hair and eye colour. They have reported on their age, when they were born, who they live with and described their school uniform and the different clothes they would wear in different weather conditions. The children in Dosbarth Gwynno Sant have very well-developed oracy, reading and writing skills and have worked very hard to enhance their Welsh-speaking skills in this academic year.
