Religious Education in Dosbarth Gwynno Sant

In Dosbarth Gwynno Sant has used famous paintings from the past to learn about the skills a Pope needs to possess. Children used their learning to explain the virtues they thought a Pope should possess and why. The children investigated the life of our new Pope, Pope Louis, to make a fact file of his life so far. They have also learnt about the hierarchy of the RC Church and the roles that different parts of the clergy undertake. As part of our learning on ‘Dialogue and Encounter’, the children have used their Bible referencing skills to learn about Saul’s / Saint Paul’s role in the Christian Church.
