As part of our learning on the topic 'To the Ends of the Earth', the children have learnt about the significance of the Communion of Saints and the significance of Mary in this. The children have learnt about the Rosary and have said decades of the Rosary. This was then used in a beautiful May Day Service for Our Lady led by Father Scanlan. In addition, the children learnt about the hierarchy within the Catholic Church and some children conducted a piece of research on our new Pope, Leo XIV, and discussed how we thought he might feel about the challenges that would face him as Pope.
