For Remembrance Day we discussed the importance of 'remembering' and who we should be thankful for on this day. Everyone was very thoughtful in their contributions to our discussions and really showed their understanding of the importance of this celebration.

In Literacy sessions we have built our persuasive skills. We thought of different ways to encourage someone else to buy either a pair of trainers or an ice cream from us. Everyone was very good at persuading and convincing!

This week in our Context lessons we have been researching information to create adverts about Mount Snowdon. We are learning in a cross-curricular way by combining our research of mountains with our Literacy skills! We found many interesting bits of information in our research.
