Digital Leaders
Croeso! Welcome to our page for St Joseph's Digital Leaders!
Our action group is led by children from across the school, with two representatives from each class from Reception to Year 6.
This action group aims to raise awareness of Internet safety for all the children and parents at St Joseph's. We communicate with the whole school in different ways to ensure that we all use the internet safely and responsibly. We also make sure we look after digital equipment, and share advice on how to use it safely in our learning.
Here are the Digital Leaders for 2024-25!
In our first meeting, we discussed what our purpose is as an action group, and how we can support our school in being safe digital learners.
We decided our first action would be to share guidance with each class on a poster. Each class will display our poster to help us all be reminded of how to be safe when using technology!

We met again today and engaged in some training on cyberbullying. We learned about what cyberbullying is and who can help us if we ever encounter it. We discussed the online games we play and enjoy and how it might feel if we had a negative experience while using them. We now know about our trusted adults and how they can help us, as well as blocking and reporting any unkind users.
We can use this training to support the children in each of our classes! We began creating some posters today to share with each class, about cyberbullying and what we can do if we encounter it. We will complete our posters together in our next meeting, ready to share to our classes.
