Dear Parents,

The school has subscribed to the online children’s newspaper ‘First News’ which includes articles based on current events around the world.

Teachers will set reading activities using these articles for the children to complete online at home. These activities are based on some of the reading skills used in the end of year reading tests. It is an excellent way to improve general reading and comprehension skills in KS2.

Children will need to create their own account using

https://ihub.firstnews.co.uk/pupils/find.

Create a user name and password, add date of birth and the school code which is 681670

Please let us know if you need any help accessing the site or the activities!
