Dear Parent/Carer,
As you may be aware, schools in Cardiff annually nominate children for trials to represent a schools’ district team. This team is called Cardiff Schools’ Rugby Union 11s (CSRU11s) and we are affiliated to Welsh School Rugby Union.
We intend to run a training camp for current Year 4 children. This camp will be organised by CSRU teachers and will take place at Greenway Primary School. This camp will give us an opportunity to see possible district players before the April 2018 trials. Please see below for further details:
Session 1 Wednesday 4th April 9:00am until 12:00pm
Session 2 Wednesday 4th April 1:00pm until 4:00pm
We are anticipating a high uptake for these sessions. Lunch will not be provided for the children. There will be a cost of £20 for the session which is payable on the day. Children will need to bring sports kit, rugby boots, trainers, gum shields and any other equipment or clothing they wish.
If you are interested in reserving a place at one of these sessions, then please send an email to nic.naish@cardiff.gov.uk and indicate which session you would like.
I will then send a registration form to you, which will need to be returned prior to the session either by email or by post to the secretary at the address above.
*Please do not contact your school about these sessions as they are not organising the event.
If you would like to learn more about the team you can follow us on twitter @csru_u11 or access our website at www.cardiff-schools.com
We look forward to supporting your child in enjoying the game of rugby and developing their skills.
Yours faithfully
CSRU Coaches
