SPRING TERM SUPER AMBASSADORS SPECIAL MISSION!

Each the term the Children's Commissioner for Wales sets a special mission for the Super Ambassadors. As part of this term’s ‘Special Mission’, Year 5/6 have been exploring the costs of the school day and how it could affect families. We have discussed concerns we have about school costs. We identified costs of the school day, and costs of the school year. We thought about how children whose families are struggling financially might be feeling and what aspects of school life they may find difficult to access. We sent our findings and suggestions to Mrs Riordan and the Senior Leadership Team and we worked together to discuss ways forward. Check out the word document below to see our findings!

We used the results of the questionnaire completed by some parents, staff and pupils about what words represented our school best. We used these key words to mind map different statements. The school leadership team will take our ideas into account when creating our new mission statement.
